Our skewback six-blade bow thruster generates less cavitation, which, in addition to the carefully selected hydroacoustic design, results in a significant reduction in noise. With blade tips weighted back against the direction of rotation and a bend to the rear with respect to the longitudinal axis, our bow thrusters generate a forward pressure that almost matches the reverse pressure, i.e. the bow thruster system is reliable for maneuvers in both directions.
