Starter for Suzuki outboard engines
The starter (starter motor) is an electric motor that turns the outboard engine during the starting process. A starter gear engages with the ring gear of the flywheel and turns the crankshaft until the combustion process begins.
The starter is activated via the ignition switch or start button. Current flows from the battery via the starter relay to the starter motor, which then turns the engine mechanically.
