Filters for Suzuki outboard engines
Filters are part of several outboard engine systems. They remove impurities from fuel or engine oil and thus protect sensitive components such as the injection system, fuel pump or engine bearings.
Fuel filter and water separator
Fuel filters retain dirt particles and other impurities from the fuel before the fuel reaches the engine. This prevents injection systems or carburetors from being damaged by particles.
Many outboard engines also have a water separator filter. This separates water from the fuel and collects it in a separate container so that it does not get into the fuel system.
Oil filter in the engine lubrication system
Oil filters remove impurities from the engine oil. During engine operation, metal particles, combustion residues or dirt can accumulate in the oil. The oil filter retains these particles and ensures that clean oil circulates through the engine.
Clean engine oil reduces wear on moving parts and contributes to the service life of the engine.
