Volvo Penta Duoprop J Series
The Volvo Penta Duoprop J series is an aluminum propeller set for Aquamatic Z-drives with twin propeller system. Two propellers run in opposite directions on a double propeller shaft. The larger front propeller generates the main thrust, while the rear propeller uses the current and generates additional thrust.
The J series was developed to replace older A and B series duoprop propeller sets. The size designations have been adopted so that, for example, an A5 or B5 propeller set can be replaced by a J5 propeller.

The propellers are manufactured using the press or squeeze casting process and have an optimized blade geometry for smooth running and high efficiency.
